Terms & Conditions | THE LAW's Finest Awards Night 2026

1. Minimum Submission Threshold

Each award area or jurisdiction must receive from five (5) to eight (8) qualifying submissions to proceed.
If fewer than five (5) valid submissions are received for a specific award or jurisdiction, that category may be suspended or merged with a broader regional category at the discretion of the Awards Committee.

All information submitted must be accurate and verifiable. False or misleading information may result in immediate disqualification.
THE LAW reserves the right to request supporting documentation or independent verification of facts presented in the submission.

Confidential information: all information not for publication and confidential data clearly marked accordingly (e.g., highlighted in red) will remain undisclosed and will be used solely for evaluation purposes.
The organising committee and judges are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all sensitive information provided by nominees, firms, in house legal teams, or clients throughout the assessment process.
Confidentiality of results: the Awards Night organising team, including all staff, coordinators, affiliates, and judges, are strictly prohibited from disclosing, sharing, or discussing the identities of any shortlisted nominees, finalists, or winners before the official public announcement.
Any unauthorised disclosure of results or related information will constitute a breach of confidentiality and may result in disciplinary or administrative action by the organising committee.

Entries will be assessed based on the published evaluation criteria applicable to each award category.
Judges' decisions are final and binding. No correspondence regarding scoring, deliberations, or outcomes will be entertained.

Submissions must be received by the stated deadline and comply with the prescribed format.
Late, incomplete, or otherwise non compliant submissions may not be considered.

All personal and professional information submitted will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection standards and used solely for the administration of the awards programme and related official communications.

Winners, finalists, and shortlisted nominees consent to participation in press, digital, print, and social media coverage relating to THE LAW's Finest Awards.
THE LAW reserves the right to publish, announce, and promote the names of shortlisted firms, winning firms, shortlisted and winning in house legal teams, individual nominees, finalists, and award recipients through its website, awards reports, press releases, newsletters, social media platforms, marketing materials, and other promotional or editorial publications.
THE LAW may publish information contained in submissions that is not confidential, including firm profiles, practice descriptions, representative matters, achievements, biographies, and award citations, in THE LAW's Finest Awards Report 2026 and any subsequent publications or promotional materials, unless such information has been expressly identified as confidential by the submitting party.
By submitting an entry, nominees confirm that they have the necessary authority and consent to permit THE LAW to use such information for the purposes described above.

Attendance at the awards ceremony is encouraged but is not a condition for receiving recognition or an award.
Winners (individuals) who are unable to attend the awards ceremony, or (entities) who do not designate a representative to attend on their behalf, will not be announced as winners during the live awards presentation. Their award will be retained by THE LAW and arrangements will be made for the trophy to be presented or collected at a later date. Such winners may be announced through THE LAW's official communication channels following the event.

THE LAW and its affiliates shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expense, or cost arising from participation, disqualification, postponement, cancellation, or any modification of the awards process.
Submission and participation in THE LAW's Finest Awards are voluntary and undertaken at the participant's own discretion.
