  • Partner, counsel or equivalent senior private-practice lawyer
  • Normally at least 12 years of post-qualification legal experience
  • Personally led or played a decisive role in at least three eligible transactional Matters
  • Two client or independent professional references

Full requirements

  • Partner, counsel or equivalent senior private-practice lawyer.
  • Normally at least 12 years of post-qualification legal experience by the end of the Eligibility Period, unless the Awards Oversight Committee approves an exception based on documented circumstances.
  • Personally led or played a decisive role in at least three eligible transactional Matters.
  • The Nominee must consent before public Shortlist announcement.
  • The entry must distinguish personal contribution from the firm's work.
  • Six representative Matters and a personal-role explanation.
  • Two client or independent professional references.
  • Leadership, mentoring and professional-contribution evidence.
  • Professional-standing declaration.
