  • General Counsel, Chief Legal Officer, Head of Legal or equivalent senior in-house leader
  • Normally at least 12 years of total legal experience, including at least 5 years in a senior in-house role
  • Material responsibility for legal strategy, governance, risk or a substantial business unit
  • Board, chief executive or senior-business reference

Full requirements

  • General Counsel, Chief Legal Officer, Head of Legal or equivalent senior in-house leader.
  • Normally at least 12 years of total legal experience.
  • At least five years in a senior in-house leadership role by the end of the Eligibility Period, unless the Awards Oversight Committee approves an exception based on documented circumstances.
  • Material responsibility for legal strategy, governance, risk or a substantial business unit.
  • Employer consent before public Shortlist announcement.
  • Six representative Matters, Initiatives or outcomes.
  • Board, chief executive or senior-business reference.
  • Team-development and governance evidence.
  • Innovation, efficiency or risk-management evidence.
